This piece of local folk art and foodstuffs was on display in Gretton.
Looks like an extinct great auk to me! I had a peek at Gretton on Street View and was disappointed to see the carving has gone. I suppose the house changed hands and the new occupants declared, 'Well, that's got to go!'
