These are some of the canal barges that gathered at Gloucester docks in the early 90's to take part in a festival.
I can't recall if it was a festival specifically to parade the barges, or if it was just one of the many attractions that was part of a Bank Holiday weekend or suchlike.
Anyway, the top image was taken during their arrival, with most of them adorned with flags & bunting - and the picture under it was later in the day when there was a mad scramble to leave the docks!
