Anyway, banter aside, this was the nightclub that took over from KC's discotheque in the 90's.
However, here was one Gloucester club that didn't manage to find the quay to survival and so had a rather short lifespan as a consequence.
It did reinvent itself shortly after a refit to the lower levels and reopened as Envy. The brand was owned by Luminar leisure who also owned Jumpin jaks and liquid. The liquid chain was sold on when Luminar went into administration unfortunately the New owners of envy didn't see a future for the club even though it was still a popular nightout for the older generation of clubbers
